Walking the wasteland, the sunlight caught her hair and turned it to gold as she walked, Llefelys felt her heart quicken with the beauty of the day.
She had never seen anything so perfect, and she knew that she never would again.

In that instant she could hear the birds above her call for the day to be over; she could hear the wind above her as it sang; and she could hear the sound of the earth below as it rose and fell in its endless succession of beats.

"We are all going to die, this moment, we all are,
We know now we cannot succeed, not any more,
So the toil comes to a close."

Llefelys looked up and around her, the slow motion was gone, the quick sharp motion was gone.
A green light shone brightly in the sky, Llefelys smiled and then a silence fell over the town.

There was no sound, no movement, no stifling air; Llefelys stood, a silent statue and watched as the light became more intense it then extinguished and everything went black.
