The ancient people found a sacred stone around which the entire territory of High Eden was built. This stone did not look anything like the objects that surrounded it, it was silver and yellow and sat on a tall rock outcropping, it was shaped like a sphere and had a large hole in the centre.

The stone in any case was far more than just a marker: it had the power to hold and transform the life energy of the land, anyone who touched the stone would be forever changed, their life force forever entwined with the stone until finally, they died and only it remained.

However, if the stone was ever to be broken, there would come a great judgment day when the Edonites would face a great warrior and a great army, and they will have to stand firm and make a stand to defend the stone.

And so the guild formed.

With symbols of the guild tattooed in blue ink on their skin in order to identify each other on the field, these men made great sacrifices of themselves and offered their lives as a gift to ensure that the stone would never break and consume them.

The great stone was then sealed...

This power gave the guild of the High Eden an overwhelming advantage over all those who were not able to embrace it.

They saw themselves as the custodians of this stone, knowing that one day the stone would be revealed to the people and High Eden would become the great.

Those who touched the stone were given the means to live and thrive, but those who were not part of the guild and were unable to even come near to the stone and participate in the ritual, and paid a terrible price.

Those who could not embrace the power of the stone found themselves in constant agony, writhing in pain and constantly on the verge of death.
