Summer mountains of High Eden lie above dark-purple spheres of water and green trees with skin-pink flowers.

Long dragonflies danced on the shimmering silver-green grass.

All around them in every direction there was nothing but water and trees, sky and earth.

Birds voices filled the lonely clearing, each call tumbling off the others into the silence of the woods along the riverside path that wound around to the vast emerald, green valley.

Ahead a fiery fountain sprayed high into the air.

The noonday sun casts long shadowed circles on the white walls of the buildings and above the peaks of the blue-painted ash-wood roofs, bejeweling them with a rainbow of glowing colours.

We met behind the grand oak, holding up the bright leaves of the largest shade trees on the mountainside

The soft lids of her eyes never closed but never stopped dancing, she wore an intense smile.

This girl, who must be the Teirtu, had a beauty that I had never seen.

The glittering smile and the glinting, sparkly eyes, and the figure of a triad

I had such a strong feeling that I was in a position to make a conscious decision on the spot and decided that the time had come, there.

At this, the Teirtu twirled around in our big, empty plaza, giggling. Her fair, rosy skin was shining, sending her sparkling smile far into the distance. The blue iris of her eyes, and the pinkness of her lips. Everything around her seemed drawn, glowing and sparkling, illuminating the blinding sun.

“The people who built the city of High Eden from the ashes of old Earth knew something we do not know,” I said...
